LVA Parents

Your child. Your choice. Your voice.

At the Lehigh Valley Academy, everyone makes a difference in a child’s life, especially his or her parents. When parents become a part of their child’s education, they are saying, “We believe in you, we support you.” That statement empowers a child to go beyond the everyday expectations and seek new opportunities, challenging himself on new levels.

Families of LVA have made the conscious choice to enroll their child/children here. One of the key principles incorporated into the charter was parental involvement. Parental involvement means an increase in the quality and quantity of education children receive by:
Improving the school – involved parents are more likely to become actively involved in the success of the school and its Programmes.
Improved communication – when parents are closer to the Administration and teachers, they are more knowledgeable of the child’s behavioral and educational process.
Providing additional resources to the school – making the LVA learning experience the absolute best choice parents could make for their child’s education.

Making A Difference – One Parent at a Time
LVA expects every parent to play a part in his or her child’s education. Parents, caregivers, or family members of each student are required to volunteer their time, talents, and skills. This enriches the lives of our students by bringing diversity to the school, and results in a strong family community improving the educational system.
