Board Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the ES K-3 Cafeteria.

As part of Lehigh Valley Academy Regional Charter School's governing board, trustees are volunteers who support the continued success of Lehigh Valley Academy (LVA) by contributing their experience and expertise to the oversight of school operations and accountability. Board membership requires a commitment of attendance at two monthly evening meetings. Board Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.

Lehigh Valley Academy, established in 2002, is a non-profit, K-12 public charter school presently serving 1700 students. As a charter school, LVA is funded by public dollars and represents an alternative choice for parents/guardians to education available in public school districts. The school’s academically challenging education program utilizes the acclaimed International Baccalaureate curriculum (www.IBO.org). LVA is one of 84 schools in North America that was awarded the authorization to deliver all three levels of this specialized program. LVA has also consistently achieved Adequate Yearly Progress as a school district as measured by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Members of the Board of Trustees are charged with setting overall policy and direction for the Lehigh Valley Academy Regional Charter School. Specific duties are listed in the school's By Laws and the term of office for Trustees is one to three years. Each Trustee is required to attend monthly Board Meetings and to serve as a liaison to various school committees and organizations.

All Board Board Committee Meetings and Business Meetings are open to the public. Board Meetings are held on the third Tuesdays of each month at Lehigh Valley Academy, 1560 Valley Center Parkway, Bethlehem, PA 18017-2276, in the Elementary K-3 Cafeteria at 7:00 pm. All voting takes place during the Board meetings. The Annual Board Meeting is held on the third Tuesday of the month in June. Officers are elected during this meeting.
